Several of our DJs are involved in the SLOBcast Project, a joint venture of the South Carolina Broadcaster's Association and the SLOBs (Slightly Legendary Old Broadcasters). The SLOBs gather monthly for breakfast and fellowship.
These podcasts are a vocal history where we gather the pioneers of South Carolina's airwaves to reminisce about the golden age of radio and television.

"You should write a book" was something Rick heard a lot the last few years. So he sat down and jotted down his memories. But instead of publishing them, as a book (too much heartache and expense) he collaborated with the staff at WUSC-FM the University of South Carolina's campus radio station where he got his start in broadcasting back in 1963 to publish his story as a blog series. The first 13 chapters are released with more to come.
